Sri Acharyaji has been studying and practicing the ancient spiritual tradition of Hinduism for over 33 years. His interest in Hinduism began when he first read the Bhagavad Gita at the tender age of ten. A philosophically inquisitive child, Sri Acharyaji proceeded to practice Yoga, pranayama, and meditation. After living the life of a celibate Hindu monk for six years, Sri Acharyaji was initiated as a Hindu priest in 1986. His Sanskrit name is Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya.
