The ISDS Presents: Yugabda Calendar
Kali Yuga 5128
Many people are not aware of the fact that there is an official calendar for the religious tradition of Sanatana Dharma ("Hinduism"). It is called the Yugabda calendar. This calendar begins with the very first year of the Kali Yuga. Thus, beginning on March 19th of 2026, it will be the year 5128 YC according to the Yugabda calendar. The International Sanatana Dharma Society has taken up the task of fully reviving the Yugabda calendar as a widely used calendar again. In this history-making effort, we have created this beautiful print Yugabda calendar for the 2026-2027 timeframe. Purchase this beautiful Yugabda calendar today to stay informed of all of the most important Vedic holidays coming up in the near future.

This calendar is a world first, in that it has Sri Vaisnava, Gaudiya and other major Dharmic events listed. It uses a combination of Panchangam (Astronomical calculation methods) including: Drik, Gaudiya, Vakya and the Tamil solar calendar, as they relate to the different events of the various Vaishnava traditions. Whilst it is possible to find Sri Vaisnava Calendars, Gaudiya Calendars, "Hindu" Calendars etc - this is the only known calendar which includes all 4 systems in one. As such, it should also be noted that due to overlap of the different systems, dates in the ISDS may appear different than given in other calendars. This is by no means an error - indeed in some instances numerous days have been spent to throuroughly research just one event. Whilst Gauidya Calendars will exclusively use the Gaudiya system, and Sri Calendars will strictly use their system (thereby presenting different dates accocrding to their preferred system) the ISDS calendar adheres to the system used by by each tradition for it's particular events. In some cases this may be adjusted even further still according to different maṭha (Institutions/Mission) standards; such as in the case of Srila BR Sridhar Swami's Birthday. Thus, all events are on their correct date with adjustment for the calendar being based on Vedic Heartland Time (VHT) - aka CST in Omaha, Nebraska.

Our free Online Google Calendar includes descriptions of the history, rituals and other important information for each event, and also provides explanations for the calculations where unusual astronomical factors are involved.
